UNDER THE TOWER

                      What they found under the tower!

Cautiously slipping into the hole in the floor Nox and the party headed to the unknown, they found a passageway that went on for 30 feet or so before arriving at a T junction some discussion as to which route to take was settled by the stink test, they chose to head along the stinkier passage.

 Very soon it opened out into a wider cavern with one exit that was sealed by a heavy door, Nox's skills proved unequal to the task of picking the lock so the decision was made to smash it down, however the noise attracted unwelcome attention from a pack of spectral beings known as Wraiths, the battle that followed should have been short since the party were easily equal to the task but as the fight raged a vaporous form appeared behind Nox and with a deadly precise blow drove a sword into the Thief's back, Nox was almost dispatched with the one blow and he turned to Waliph the King of thieves wielding an ornate sword that glowed with powerful aura. 

 At this point the fight could have gone against the group but they rallied and by using all their forces they managed in the end to overcome the enemies.

  After the fight they found Waliph's true resting place and using all the knowledge they had gleaned of how to deal with these awful creatures managed to ensure he would rise no more from beyond the grave, or at least so they believe....
